Community Outreach
The Community Outreach Department has been part of the Center’s scope of care since 2005, and plays an important role in the Center’s comprehensive services. The staff in the department focuses on helping people access healthcare and social services and educating the community on health resources. Their mission is to help improve the quality of life for the most vulnerable populations in Lenoir and surrounding counties.
Community Outreach Services Available Include:

- We welcome invitations to participate in community events. Call 252-522-9800 ext. 1252 to request our services. Attendance is determined upon availability of department staff.

Anna Kinsey began working with Kinston Community Health Center Inc. in September 2000. Anna is responsible for assisting with the implementation of new and existing patient support programs, oversees the 340B Drug Program, and assists with the Prescription Assistance Program. Anna is also the Advocacy Coordinator and has coordinated many community events to promote the Community Health Center. She works with the Chief Executive Officer, and the Advocacy Committee in regards to grassroots and keeping Congress reminded how important the health center movement is.
